This Privacy Policy explains how Fixoral (“Fixoral,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our home-maintenance platform and service-provider marketplace (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, password, and (if you enable SMS) your mobile phone number.
• Property information — addresses and property details you enter, plus data we retrieve about your property from third-party sources (e.g. RentCast) to auto-populate your profile.
• Service-provider information — for providers: business name, contact details, service categories, service area, and license/insurance information you supply.
• Payment information — provider subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles payment data under its own terms.
• Usage & device data — basic analytics and error-diagnostic data to operate and improve the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide the Service: generate maintenance schedules, tasks, and property records.
• To send you notifications you have enabled (email via Resend, SMS via Twilio), including monthly digests and weather alerts.
• To operate the provider marketplace (matching, requests, reviews).
• To process provider subscription payments through Stripe.
• To secure, maintain, analyze, and improve the Service.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages (maintenance reminders and weather alerts) at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Your opt-in and phone number are used solely to deliver these messages and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing. See our Terms of Service for more.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers (“subprocessors”) that help us operate the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing for provider subscriptions.
• Resend — transactional and notification email.
• Twilio — SMS delivery.
• RentCast — property data lookup.
• Google Places — address autocomplete.
• National Weather Service — weather data for alerts.
• Error/analytics tooling — for reliability and product analytics (e.g. Sentry, PostHog).

We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and, subject to your consent where required, analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; doing so permanently removes your personal data and associated records from our systems (subject to limited retention required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as payment records).

Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@fixoral.com.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
